Spoutwood Farm Observatory Evenings of Wonder Under the Stars with Fred Ruof  are held regularly at the farm. Each Evening of Wonder begins at 6:30 PM with light finger food and ends at 9 PM with a cup of hot coffee, cocoa or tea.

What you will see and experience at the observatory:

  • Naked eye tours of the constellations
  • Telescopic views of:
    • The moon
    • The planets
    • Globular clusters of stars
    • Nebulas and Galaxies
  • "Hubble" tours of the Cosmos
  • Wide land model of our Solar System and Galaxies
  • How to make your own small telescope

The evening ends with the great Universe Story.
