CSA Harvest Guide : October 6

Hi Everyone! Our harvest crew worked hard this morning; bunching carrots with cold fingers is not an easy task. I want to thank Elana who roasted some chestnuts and brewed some tea to warm everybody up. It was greatly appreciated!

It seems like these last few harvests are going to test Brett's creativity. He had to mix and match items this week to make sure everyone received their fair share. With that said, there are only a few items that everyone should expect in their bag: carrots, kale, and dill. Other than that, you will receive a few more (but not all) of these: cabbage, winter squash, jalapenos, onions, green beans, and/or arugula.

We are keeping track of each location and what they are recieving. So, if you see something you like on the list but you did not find it in your bag, don't worry! Growth slows down in the cold. We have plenty of food left in the field. By the end we hope that everyone has had a taste of everything that we chose to grow this season.
